Rectangular tube is a kind of hollow long steel, also known as flat tube, flat square tube or square flat tube (as the name implies). When the bending and torsion strength are the same, the weight is lighter, so it is widely used in manufacturing mechanical parts and engineering structures.
There are two main production modes of rectangular tube, i. e. cold rolling and hot rolling. Hot rolling of rectangular tube is made by coiling hot rolled strip after processing. Cold-drawn or cold-rolled precise rectangular tubes are cold-drawn or cold-rolled precise rectangular tubes used for mechanical structures, hydraulic equipment with high dimensional accuracy and good surface finish.Galvanized square steel tube is easy to weld, shape, cut and related process, meanwhile galvanized coatings also have better corrosion resistance and anti rust than other types of carbon steel. In addition, galvanized square steel tubing is a low-cost alternative to steel and achieves resistance of rust for up to period at least 25 years while maintaining the same strength as durable surface coatings.
